Banafsha set

An evocative expression of winter luxury, the Velvet Heritage Kurta reinterprets the grandeur of traditional Indian dressing through Ohfab’s distinctive approach to heritage craftsmanship. Inspired by the classic Abha silhouette, this shorter interpretation features carefully constructed side kalis that create graceful movement and a fluid, elegant fall while introducing a contemporary sensibility to a traditional form. The sumptuous velvet base lends depth and richness to the ensemble, providing a beautiful foundation for intricate heritage hand embroidery and exquisite handwoven brocade. These artisanal elements come together in a considered interplay of texture, pattern and craftsmanship, celebrating the richness of traditional techniques with a distinctly modern perspective. Paired with a classic salwar, the ensemble creates an unexpected yet harmonious balance between old-world grandeur and contemporary sophistication. Rich, distinctive and timeless, the Velvet Heritage Kurta is designed for winter celebrations and special occasions that call for elegance, warmth and enduring artisanal beauty.
